Bentley University Honors Richard J. Caturano, Chairman of AICPA

On May 2, 2013, the Bentley University community honored Richard J. Caturano CPA, CGMA '74, MST '85 as the first Bentley graduate to be named chairman of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Caturano drew from his unique vantage point as both chairman of the AICPA and executive managing partner of McGladrey LLP to share his vision for the future of the accounting profession. 10 Days Until Reunion Weekend

There is still time to register for Reunion Weekend! Classes ending in 3 and 8, as well as Blue and Gold Society members (alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago), will return to campus during the weekend of May 31 to June 2. Highlights of the weekend include a family-friendly Reunion Picnic, class parties, and the opportunity to spend the night in one of the Bentley dorms. Will you be there? Register today.

Students Express Gratitude to Scholarship Donors

On April 24, 2013, scholarship donors arrived on campus to meet with student recipients. Both students and donors were pleased to celebrate and foster their relationships. Attendees heard from donor Robert Badavas '74, vice chairman of the Bentley Board of Trustees and founder of the Robert and Kalliope Badavas Scholarship, and Michael Falkenburgh '15 on the power of donor-student relationships. Bentley Receives Green Accolades from Princeton Review and EPA

Bentley continues to make strong efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. The university recently received two distinctions for its sustainability practices: inclusion in The Princeton Review's list of top environmentally responsible colleges in the U.S. and Canada, and winning the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 2012-2013 College & University Green Power Challenge for using more green power than any other school in the Northeast-10 Conference.
