New Student Group Seeks to Educate Peers

The Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) is a new group committed to creating a culture of philanthropy while providing meaningful interactions between past and present Bentley students. SALC hosted a week-long kickoff to a month-long student campaign to educate students about Bentley's Annual Fund. Themes emphasized during the week were education, appreciation and participation. Students shared what they appreciate about Bentley and were encouraged to consider making a gift; those who did celebrated with President Larson at an ice cream party she hosted. From 5 Years to 50, Alumni Come Together for Reunion Weekend

Alumni and their families converged on campus during the weekend of May 31-June 2 to reconnect with one another and with Bentley during Reunion Weekend. Graduates of classes ending in 3 or 8, as well as members of the Blue and Gold Society (alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago), spent a sunny weekend enjoying the weather and good company. Take a look at a video that attendees watched to remind them of their time on campus and check out photos of the weekend.

Bentley Community Mourns Loss of David LeClair '11

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of David LeClair '11 will be held on campus on Wednesday, June 19. David passed away on Friday, June 14, in a tragic biking accident. David was an incredibly involved student and alumnus, and the entire Bentley community grieves alongside his family and friends. The memorial service will be held in the Executive Dining Room of the LaCava Center at 4:00 p.m. on June 19. A light reception will follow in the tent outside the LaCava Center. Given the extensive personal and professional relationships David cultivated at Bentley and in this local area, the LeClair family has decided this will be the primary memorial ceremony for family and guests. If you have any questions, please contact the Spiritual Life Center team.
