Family Fun Fills the Weekend

Parents and family members descended on Bentley during the weekend of October 4-6 to visit with their students and experience all the campus has to offer. Families lunched in Seasons Dining Hall; sat in on classroom sessions; and cheered on the Falcons football team to a victory over St. Anselm College. Take a look at pictures from the weekend. Join First-Ever Bentley Alumni Travel Adventure

Ready to get away? Bentley's inaugural group travel trip will take you to beautiful France with resident francophiles Professors Jane Tchaicha and Mark Davis. You'll explore Normandy and Paris, experiencing the culture and history of the French countryside. Highlights include visiting major landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and Versailles Palace; a private group tasting at the Brusnel's distillery; and several museum tours, as well as time to venture out at your leisure. This small group trip is sure to fill up; learn more and reserve your space today.

Bentley Microfinance Group (BMG) Publishes World's First Student-Run Microfinance Journal

The group of 40 students has made a total of five microloans in as many years and recently published the world's first student-edited, student-run, microfinance journal. The Bentley Microfinance Review showcases student research in microfinance, microenterprise and community development, and is edited by a faculty and student board. The BMG was originally launched in 2008; its mission is to raise awareness about microfinance in the Bentley and Boston communities. Learn more.

Engaging Men to Advance Women in Business

On October 29, the Bentley University Center for Women and Business will host a Best Practices Forum on engaging men in the retention and advancement of women. The interactive program acknowledges that men in business leadership face unique challenges with gender differences, and focuses specifically on how to include men in organizational diversity and inclusion initiatives. Fall Career Fair Brings Record Numbers of Recruiters and Students Together

1,400 students and 375 employees from 136 companies were in attendance at the annual fall Career Fair on September 25. Students showed up in droves with resumes in hand for the opportunity to speak to industry representatives, many of whom returned as alumni. Take a look at photos from the fair.

The Honors Program just released its fall 2013 newsletter, which includes a feature article on United Technologies Corporation's commitment to a five-year partnership with the Honors Program.
